I want this site to be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard only, or need low-vision support. My target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
The published song tablature is plain HTML tables. You can read every song with JavaScript turned off; the sound and hover highlighting are enhancements layered on top, never the only way to get the notes.
Known limitation: the interactive tablature editor needs JavaScript to compose, play, and share a snippet. That part will not work with scripting disabled. The song pages themselves do not depend on it.
